Preserving a Julia Morgan Treasure

The Sausalito Woman's Club Preservation Society is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit organization supported by funds raised in the community through donor programs, events, grants, donations and sponsorships. Our mission is to preserve the Sausalito Woman's Club landmark clubhouse and facilitate access for the general public. Activities include fundraising, administration of grants, education, and community involvement and support.

We are a volunteer organization and we do important work. By preserving this historic building, we secure a unique connection with our local heritage and provide a tangible experience of our past to future generations. Understanding our rich architectural and local history engenders a sense of community and interest. And the clubhouse provides important lessons in the environment, sustainability, urban planning and community action.
