Tour our Historic Clubhouse

We cordially invite you to join us for a tour of our beautiful and historic Julia Morgan designed clubhouse. Mark Anthony Wilson of Marin Magazine calls  it "The crowning jewel of Julia Morgan’s work in Marin".

Docent Tours
The clubhouse is open to the public on a limited basis for docent-led tours on the third Sunday and the fourth Wednesday
of most months.  Exceptions are December and March due to increased club activities during those months. Please Contact Us to schedule a tour.

In 1938, three local artists, Leonard Sutton Wood, George Ashley and John Stump, painted a mural above the clubhouse bar.  The design was inspired by Andrew Marvell's famous poem, "To His Coy Mistress".
"But at my back I always hear
Time's winged chariot hurrying near."
The bar area was later converted to a storage room, and the mural was all but forgotten.  It was rediscovered when the club undertook a project to install an ADA-compliant bathroom.  Prairie Prince, a noted local artist, was commissioned to restore it to it's former glory.
